Position: ACCA Education Coordinator
Reports to: Head - Professional Education Division
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe [On-site, full-time]
Summary:
Ellchart Business School, a registered tuition provider delivering professional accountancy programmes in partnership with ACCA and ICAZ, invites applications from suitably qualified professionals for the position of ACCA Education Coordinator within its Professional Education Division (PED). Purpose of the role is to deliver high-quality ACCA tuition and to coordinate the academic and operational running of the ACCA programme, ensuring strong learner outcomes, smooth examination cycles, and an excellent student experience across the programme.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A fully qualified member of ACCA (in good standing) plus a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Proven lecturing or tuition experience at professional/ACCA level.
- Sound, current technical knowledge across the ACCA syllabus, including financial reporting, audit and assurance, taxation and financial management.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage examination cycles and student records accurately.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and student-engagement skills.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and learning-management / virtual delivery platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Lecturing and Academic Delivery
- Deliver high-quality tuition across ACCA papers within areas of expertise, preparing lesson plans, learning materials, progress tests and mock examinations.
- Provide academic support and feedback to maximise student performance, pass rates and retention.
Programme Coordination
- Coordinate the ACCA programme, including academic scheduling, examinations, student records and performance monitoring.
Stakeholder and Quality Liaison
- Serve as the primary academic contact for ACCA students liaising with ACCA and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
- Support student recruitment, marketing initiatives and the growth of the Division.
