Recruitment263 (we, us, our) is operated by Fignoc Technologies, Harare, Zimbabwe. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use recruitment263.co.zw, why we collect it, and your rights in relation to it.

We process personal data in accordance with Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act (Chapter 12:07, 2021).


1. Data we collect

When you post a job listing as a guest

  • Your email address (to verify ownership and send you management links)
  • Listing content you submit (organisation name, role details, application contact)

When you register as an employer

  • Name, email address, and password
  • Job title and phone number
  • Organisation details (name, type, website, address)

When you subscribe to our newsletter

  • Email address
  • Confirmation timestamp (double opt-in)

Automatically collected data

  • We use Google Analytics 4 (and optionally Google Tag Manager) to measure site traffic. This may set cookies and collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, referral source, device type). No personally identifiable information is sent to Google.
  • We log page views per listing to show employers how many times their post was viewed. These counts are aggregate — we do not track individual visitors.

2. How we use your data

Guest poster email Verify listing ownership; send edit and manage links; notify you of approval or rejection
Employer account details Authenticate your account; allow you to manage listings; contact you about your account
Newsletter email Send the weekly digest of new listings (you can unsubscribe at any time)
Analytics data Understand how the site is used and improve it

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.


3. Who sees your data

  • Our admin team (Fignoc Technologies) reviews submitted listings and employer registrations before approval.
  • Google receives anonymised analytics data as described above.
  • No other third parties receive your personal data.

4. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Session management — keeping you logged in to your employer account
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _ga_*)

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to browse or post listings.


5. Data retention

  • Guest listing emails — retained for as long as the listing exists in our system.
  • Employer accounts — retained until you request deletion.
  • Newsletter subscriptions — retained until you unsubscribe. Every digest email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Analytics data — retained per Google's standard retention period (14 months by default).

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for newsletter communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email

7. Children

This site is intended for organisations and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.


8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
