How to check a job is genuine
- Read the full advert and apply using the exact email or link given, directly to the employer.
- Look up the company independently. A real address, phone number and website are good signs.
- Be cautious sharing personal documents until you've confirmed the employer and the role are real.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels off, ask questions or step away. A real employer won't mind.
