Accounting Graduate Trainee
About the Role
The successful candidate will receive practical exposure and training in various accounting and finance functions, including:
1. Capturing and processing accounting transactions.
2. Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
3. Assisting with accounts payable and receivable.
4. Preparing and processing invoices, receipts and payment documentation.
5. Assisting with bank and ledger reconciliations.
6. Supporting the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
7. Assisting with budgeting, expenditure monitoring and financial administration.
8. Providing general support to the Finance Department as required.
9. Performing any other duties relevant to the training programme.
Requirements
1. Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognised institution.
2. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
3. Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.
4. Good communication and organisational skills.
5. High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. Practical experience with Pastel Accounting is a definite advantage.
