Job title: Cook. Location: Harare. Department section: DLA Operations. Reports to: Canteen Supervisor (first level) and Wellness Coordinator (second level). Subordinates: none.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and serving lunch for staff members only.
• Menu planning.
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene.
• Managing supplies.
• Equipment care.
• General duties.
• Stock control and inventory.
• Kitchen management.

Qualifications, training and competences

• Diploma in catering.
• 5 O Levels.

Skills

• Good cooking and food preparation skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to plan and prepare balanced meals.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage kitchen stock and supplies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
