About the Role
Contribute to developing and implementing the Ministry's innovation policies and strategies. Reports to the Director, Research and Statistics.
Duties:
- Facilitate collection of information from paper-based sources, the internet, online databases and the public.
- Advise on research methods and policy development; coordinate innovation speeches, articles, policy papers and research briefs.
- Provide technical input into procurement; supervise, coach and counsel subordinates.

Requirements
- Degree in Education or equivalent (a Master's is an added advantage).
- At least 6 years at Education Research Officer grade or equivalent.
- Proven extensive research skills and experience in the education sector.
- Understanding of Ministry functions and national development priorities; ability to use ICT in innovation and development work.
