About the Role
Application requirements
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Design and Technology according to the Cambridge syllabus for IGCSE, AS and A-Level.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including high-achievers and those requiring extra support.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods, including technology, to enhance understanding.
- Uphold and promote the college's Catholic education ethos on student welfare and safeguarding.
Extracurricular activities: contribute to the school's co-curricular programme, such as coaching a sport or leading a club.
Requirements
- Teaching qualification: a related Design and Technology Degree and a recognized teaching qualification.
- Experience: proven experience teaching Design and Technology up to A-Level. An additional teaching subject will be an advantage.
- Curriculum knowledge: demonstrable experience and in-depth knowledge of the Cambridge (CAIE) curriculum and assessment methods.
