About the Role
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacant positions of Fixed Term Contract General Hands – A2 (x10) which have arisen within the City of Victoria Falls.
Job Purpose
Perform general tasks in the maintenance of roads.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Bush clearing and debris removal.
- Moving of all construction materials to positions as assigned.
- Preparing pipe trenches to sizes as specified.
- Grass cutting.
- Clean and maintain Council grounds.
- Clearing storm drains.
- Tar patching.
- Attend to all Council general work duties.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor.

Requirements
- 'O' level certificate.
- Self-starter and a team participant.
- Reliable and has good communication skills.
- Physically fit.
- At least a year's previous experience performing similar duties.
