About the Role
Applications for the three-year Diploma General Nurse and Mental Health Nurse Training are invited by the Ministry of Health and Child Care. Commencement dates: 04/01/27, 03/05/27 and 06/09/27.

General Nursing at Provincial Hospitals — e.g. Gweru, Masvingo (Jan); Chinhoyi, Gwanda, Gweru, Masvingo, Marondera, Victoria Chitepo (May); Bindura, Chinhoyi, Gwanda, Gweru, Marondera, Masvingo, Victoria Chitepo (Sep).

Requirements
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level subjects at grade C or better.
- English Language and a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science, Physical Science, Combined Science or Physics).
- The other three subjects should exclude practical subjects.
- Passes obtained from not more than TWO sittings, with original certificates (result slips are not accepted).
- Aged between 18 and 30 years by the commencement dates.
How to apply: submit application letters no later than 28/09/26 to the relevant training school — Central Hospitals (addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Attention: Principal Tutor) or Provincial/District/Mission Hospitals (addressed to the Medical Superintendent, Attention: Tutor in Charge). NB: the Ministry does not charge any fee for processing applications, and does not advertise except through state print media.
