About the Role
A two (2) year Post-Graduate Traineeship (reporting to the Internal Auditor). Duties: support the internal-audit team in testing controls and recording findings across financial operations and compliance; assist in drafting audit reports outlining findings and risks; assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify improvements; gather and analyse audit data; assist in preparing audit programmes and risk assessments.
Requirements
- Honours Degree in Accounting, Auditing and Risk Management or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills; able to work with minimum supervision; self-driven, confident and proactive.
- Must be 28 years and below.
- Exposure to public-sector accounting/auditing, preferably in local authorities during attachment.
