Graduate Trainees, Communication and Public Relations (2 Posts)

The Gweru City Council invites applications from suitably qualified candidates. Full-time, on-site, Gweru.

Department: Office of the Town Clerk. Reports to: Communications and Public Relations Officer.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing the City's communication strategy.
• Design and produce publicity materials, including brochures, posters and social media graphics.
• Manage and update the City's social media platforms.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the CPRO.

Qualifications and experience

• An Honours Degree in Media and Society Studies, English and Communication Studies, or Journalism and Media from a reputable institution.
• Be 25 years old or below.
• Proficiency in graphic design, including Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluency in English, Shona and Ndebele.
• Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and produce good results.
• Ability to work independently.
