Group Corporate Affairs Manager
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in corporate affairs by overseeing marketing, communications, public relations, human resources and administrative services across the Group — strengthening the Group's corporate image, protecting its reputation, driving stakeholder engagement and ensuring effective management of people and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corporate affairs, marketing and communication strategies.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media and PR platforms.
- Safeguard and promote the Group's corporate identity and consistent branding.
- Serve as the primary media liaison and manage public relations activities.
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies that promote employee engagement.
- Lead the Human Resources function (recruitment, induction, employee relations, performance management, staff development, culture).
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and best HR practice.
- Manage disciplinary processes, grievance handling and employee wellness.
- Oversee administrative services (facilities, office assets, security, cleaning, general operations).
- Coordinate key institutional activities and support services.
- Prepare departmental budgets and monitor performance indicators.
- Provide strategic advice to Executive Management on corporate affairs and organisational development.
Requirements
- A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Communications, Marketing, Business Studies or a related discipline.
- A professional qualification in Public Relations, Marketing or a related field is an added advantage.
- Membership of a recognised professional body is an added advantage.
Experience
- A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years' progressive experience in Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations or Corporate Communications.
- Demonstrated experience managing corporate communications, brand management and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven leadership experience in HR management, administration and organisational development.
- A strong track record of managing multidisciplinary teams.
