Head of Department — Vocational Learning

About the Role
Lead and grow a thriving vocational faculty spanning hospitality, agriculture, engineering, automotive technology and other disciplines.
Duties:
- Inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams; deliver outstanding teaching and learning.
- Build strategic relationships with corporate partners for pupil workplace experience.
- Market the vocational programme through open days, parent expos and practical demonstrations.
- Ensure smooth running, upkeep and safety of vocational facilities; manage departmental budgets, procurement and pupil invoicing.

Requirements
- A well-qualified teacher/instructor of a practical or closely related subject.
- Experience as Head of Department / Manager leading a team of professionals and support staff (ideally in an educational setting).
- Proven administrative and organisational skills, including financial budgeting and facility/resource management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
