About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ICT Intern to join our ICT Department on an industrial attachment basis for a period of one year.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of BAZ websites and web applications.
- Support the development of mobile and desktop applications to improve organizational efficiency.
- Carry out regular updates, security patches, and content management on BAZ's web platforms.
- Assist in the integration of digital systems to improve service delivery and communication.
- Provide technical support to staff on the use of web and app platforms.
- Conduct basic testing, debugging, and documentation of developed applications.
- Research and recommend innovative ICT solutions aligned with BAZ's strategic objectives.
- Perform other ICT-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications and requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- No prior experience required.
- A strong desire to learn and grow.
- Good written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Adaptability and a proactive mindset.
- A strong foundation in computer literacy and programming concepts is an added advantage.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
