ICT Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ICT Intern to join our ICT Department on an industrial attachment basis for a period of one year.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of BAZ websites and web applications.
• Support the development of mobile and desktop applications to improve organizational efficiency.
• Carry out regular updates, security patches, and content management on BAZ's web platforms.
• Assist in the integration of digital systems to improve service delivery and communication.
• Provide technical support to staff on the use of web and app platforms.
• Conduct basic testing, debugging, and documentation of developed applications.
• Research and recommend innovative ICT solutions aligned with BAZ's strategic objectives.
• Perform other ICT-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• No prior experience required.
• A strong desire to learn and grow.
• Good written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Adaptability and a proactive mindset.
• A strong foundation in computer literacy and programming concepts is an added advantage.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
