About the Role

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the above-mentioned vacant position, which has fallen vacant in the Urban Planning Department.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating survey records, including dispensation certificates, general plans, and survey diagrams.
- Conducting topographical surveys and preparing related maps and survey reports.
- Verifying survey pegs and boundaries prior to the allocation and handover of stands to beneficiaries.
- Liaising with the Surveyor-General's Office and registered land surveyors on title surveys and related matters.
- Providing guidance and advice to clients on the procedures and requirements for carrying out title surveys.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant surveying regulations, standards, and municipal policies.
- Preparing periodic reports on surveying activities and progress.
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Town Planner.

Requirements

- Degree in Land Survey and Geomatics or equivalent.
- Must be a registered member of the Council for Land Surveyors.
- Must have no criminal record.
- At least two years' post-qualification experience.
