About the Role
An opportunity has arisen at Khayah Cement in the Engineering Department for a Lubricator.
Main duties
- Carry out routine lubrication of plant machinery, equipment, bearings, gearboxes, motors, conveyors and other mechanical components.
- Follow established lubrication schedules and ensure activities are completed on time.
- Inspect equipment for oil/grease leaks, abnormal wear, overheating, contamination and other defects.
- Monitor lubricant levels and replenish oils and greases as required; ensure correct lubricants per equipment specifications.
- Clean lubrication points and surrounding areas before applying lubricants.
- Maintain accurate records of lubrication activities, lubricant consumption and equipment observations.
- Report equipment abnormalities, leaks, damaged components and potential failures to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist mechanical maintenance personnel with routine and preventive maintenance when required.
- Maintain lubrication tools, equipment and storage areas; handle, store and dispose of lubricants per company and environmental requirements.
- Follow all HSE policies; maintain good housekeeping; participate in planned maintenance, shutdowns and other activities as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications & skills
- 5 O-Levels including Mathematics and English.
- A lubrication-related qualification or training is an added advantage.
- Previous experience as a Lubricator/Lubrication Technician in cement manufacturing, mining, quarrying, heavy industry or a similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, lubrication charts and maintenance schedules.
