Mobile Canteen Intern (Part-time)
About the Role
Key responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, packaging and serving of meals and beverages; provide excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors.
- Handle cash and mobile payments, issue receipts and balance daily sales; assist with stock-taking, receiving and proper storage of stock.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety in the mobile canteen; assist with marketing and promotion; support record-keeping and daily sales reporting.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of food handling and customer service.
- Honest, hardworking and able to work under pressure; good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible to work during weekends and odd hours. Women and differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
