Municipal Police Constables (13 Posts, Grade 3)

Applications are invited for 13 posts of Municipal Police Constable (Grade 3). Reporting to: Sergeant.

Duties and responsibilities

• Safeguarding Council premises and assets.
• Enforcing Council by-laws.
• Attending court proceedings as witnesses.
• Providing secure cash-in-transit escort services.
• Performing related security duties.
• Any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 O-Level passes including English Language.
• Certificate in Security from a recognised security institution, or ZRP, ZNA or ZPCS training as equivalent.
• Physically fit: ability to run 10 km within 1 hour.
• Aged between 18 and 40 years.
• At least 5 years' relevant experience.
