Research Assistants (3 Posts, Part-Time, Mt Darwin)

CeSHHAR Zimbabwe is inviting applications for three (3) Research Assistant positions based in Mt Darwin, Zimbabwe (part time).

The Research Assistants will support research activities for the Co-Designed Heat-Adaptation Interventions for Maternal and Newborn's Health: Community-Led Feasibility, Acceptability and Pilot-Effectiveness Expansion in Rural Mt Darwin District, Zimbabwe project.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruiting research participants and obtaining informed consent.
• Collecting research and programmatic data from different sources according to the study protocol.
• Assisting in the development and testing of research tools.
• Implementing field activities as required by the study protocol.
• Conducting transcription and translation of qualitative data.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Developmental Studies or a related field.
• At least one year's experience conducting health research.
• Experience in Heat-Adaptation Interventions for Maternal and Newborn's Health.
• Ability to work with people from different disciplines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft packages.
