Restaurant Manager (Ngezi)

WE ARE HIRING: Restaurant Manager. Location: Ngezi, Zimbabwe. Reports to: General Manager.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on and guest-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our 60-seater restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as special occasions and small events.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations and service standards.
• Lead, train and schedule restaurant staff.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure quality and timely service.
• Oversee bookings, functions and special events.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback and complaints.
• Monitor stock, purchasing, portion control and wastage.
• Manage cash handling, billing and daily reconciliations.
• Monitor sales, costs and operational performance.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and workplace safety compliance.
• Submit regular reports to the General Manager.

• A hospitality, food and beverage or related qualification is an advantage.
• Proven restaurant supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with events, stock control, cash handling and cost management.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic reporting.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
