About the Role
BRD Distribution is hiring a Retail Merchandiser, based in Kadoma. The Retail Merchandiser ensures the portfolio of brands remains consistently Retail Ready — driving product availability, optimising visibility and securing strong shelf presence.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure timely, efficient transfer of products from the warehouse to the shop floor.
- Monitor and report Out-of-Stock (OOS) items to enable prompt replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant warehouse environment.
- Implement shelf layouts in strict alignment with the company Planogram.
- Install and maintain promotional materials (wobblers, shelf talkers, posters, floor decals).
- Identify and remove damaged/dented/leaking products per returns and disposal procedures.
- Verify accuracy of price tags and consistency with current promotions.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, shelf share, visibility and operational challenges.
- Build strong working relationships with Store Managers and Floor Supervisors.

- A minimum of 5 O-Levels, including English Language.
- A Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
- 1–2 years' experience in FMCG merchandising or retail sales is preferred.
- Physically fit and comfortable with lifting, bending, stretching and standing throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; strong attention to detail; ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision while meeting strict deadlines.
