About the Role

A company in the manufacture, import and supply of commercial and industrial catering equipment is recruiting an energetic, ambitious and results-driven recent graduate to join its Sales & Marketing team in Harare. The role reports to the Sales Manager / Head of Sales. Applicants must be active members of the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ).

Key responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities and grow the client portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations and product demonstrations
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries and payments
  • Negotiate and close sales, and achieve monthly sales targets
  • Conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and prepare weekly activity and sales reports

Employment terms

  • One-month structured training programme; three-month probation (including the training month)
  • Basic salary plus a separate transport allowance
  • Monthly commission of 7.5% of the gross profit on successful sales
  • PAYE and NSSA contributions paid by the company

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a Diploma in Sales & Marketing
  • Registered, active member of the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ)
  • Aged 29 or below
  • Valid Class 4 driver’s licence (mandatory)
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good digital-marketing skills and familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot
  • Willing to work within a Christian values-based organisation and uphold high ethical standards
