About the Role
Job Description: The Sorting Plant Supervisor will supervise the running of the Sorting Plant, coordinate plant staff, ensure materials are sorted according to required categories and quality standards, monitor productivity targets, and enforce SHEQ systems — including Permit to Work, housekeeping and safe working procedures.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- National Diploma in Waste Management, Engineering, Environmental Management or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Minimum of five years' experience in a production environment, waste-management operations or a related industrial setting.
- Experience supervising teams in a plant, production, recycling or waste-handling environment will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SHEQ systems, Permit to Work procedures, housekeeping standards and workplace safety requirements.
