Accountants (2 Posts: Harare and Bulawayo)

We're hiring: Accountant x2. Duty stations: Harare and Bulawayo (one post in each). Reports to: Finance Manager / Head of Finance.

Agrifoods is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals to fill two Accountant positions, one based in Harare and one in Bulawayo.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, journals, reconciliations and month-end close processes.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely statutory and tax compliance.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and financial controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting and reconciliation skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy and confidentiality.
