Accounting Assistant (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT. The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) seeks the services of a highly competent, professional and results-oriented individual who is able to take the organisation to a higher level in the following role: Accounting Assistant, 12-month fixed term contract.

Reporting directly to the Assistant Accountant, the key job functions of this position are:

• Data capturing and maintenance of accounting records
• Assisting with cash flow monitoring and management
• Management of accounts payable
• Customer receipting and invoicing
• Payment processing
• Cash handling
• Processing licence applications

Key Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting.
• Knowledge of the SAP ERP system is a must.
• Minimum of 2 years' working experience in a similar position.
• Good communication and IT skills.
• Good analytical, presentation and report writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be a person of high integrity.
