Assistant Accountant, Finance Planning

Reports to: Finance Manager, Planning.

Key job purpose

The Assistant Accountant will track actual expenditure against budget at departmental and sectional levels.

Principal job responsibilities

• Compile budget utilisation reports by department and cost centre.
• Draw down departmental budgets against actual spend and flag depleted budgets.
• Compile financial and non-financial information for management reports.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years' relevant experience.
