Job description

The Boiler Operator Supervisor oversees the operations, maintaining and safety of all boiler systems used in tobacco curing. The role ensures efficient heat supply to the curing barns, supervising boiler operators, and maintaining compliance with safety operational standards to support high quality tobacco production.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Boiler operations, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience operating boilers, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of boiler systems, pressure controls, and heat distribution.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and system diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of safety awareness and compliance.
