Business Applications Support Specialist

Zimpost (Pvt) Ltd, Harare. On-site. Reports to: Database Systems Administrator.

Duties and responsibilities

• Test, maintain and administer business systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot application problems.
• Document technical issues and communicate resolutions to users.
• Conduct technical needs assessments.
• Test software upgrades and implementations.
• Monitor system performance, data security and quality assurance.
• Work with vendors on technical solutions.
• Support developers and programmers during internal systems development.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Studies and Computing Science, Business Studies and IT, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least two years' experience in a support environment.
