Canteen Assistant - Grade 13 (Sorghum Beer Business)

Location: Chitungwiza Brewery

Reporting to the Human Resources Officer, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Cleaning of the canteen and utensils.
• Serving meals and beverages to staff on time.
• Meal preparation and development of new recipes.
• Preparation of confectionary.
• Providing best quality meals and receiving customer feedback.
• Maintaining the canteen in a hygienic condition.
• Complying with SHEQ standards and manufacturing systems.

The Person:

• Minimum of 5 'O' Levels including English and Mathematics.
• Class 1 Journeyman Apprentice trained in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
• At least one year's experience in a similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• High level of personal hygiene.
• A customer focused attitude.
• Self-motivated with a problem-solving mind-set.
• Ability to work in an organized, efficient, and professional manner.
• Good planning and recording skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Appreciation of SHEQ and manufacturing systems.
