About the Role
Duties
- Supervise staff and ensure financial records comply with IPSAS and regulations.
- Manage day-to-day accounting (payables, receivables, general ledger, tax reporting) and prepare timely financial statements.
- Maintain internal controls; coordinate and lead audits; prepare and monitor the annual budget.
- Forecast, plan and analyse performance; manage tax compliance (ZIMRA); implement debt-collection strategies.
- Supervise, train and mentor accounting staff; provide strategic financial insights to management.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience at middle-management level.
- Registered Public Accountant with the Public Auditors and Accountants Board (PAAB).
- Clean service and criminal record; a clean Class 4 driver's licence; a Zimbabwean citizen.
