About the Role
Introduction and Purpose
An INGO working with partners on long-term development, seeks the services of a consultant or a consulting firm to deliver a 1 ½ days training on the following topics:
- Resource mobilisation
- Report Writing
- Proposal writing
- Sustainability models.
The training aims to strengthen the partners’ capacity sustain their work in a context where funds are limited and highly competitive.
Requirements
PROFILE OF CONSULTANT(S) AND REQUIREMENT
The consultant(s) or firm must have substantive understanding of the donor landscape and the needs of the development sectors in Zimbabwe. The consultant should have proven experiences of previous assignments facilitating trainings on the four areas of need.
In addition, the consultant must have the following:
- Relevant advanced degree in related discipline;
- At least 5 years’ experience
- Traceable references and copies of training reports; providing the duration of the assignment and when ready to undertake the assignment; and providing evidence of similar work undertaken in the recent past (not more than 2 years), including contact details of references.
- Consultant should demonstrate ethical consideration including respectful attitude towards NPA partners and their stakeholders.
Expected Deliverables
- Deliver 1 ½ days training.
- Submit a post training report.
