About the Role
The Council of Social Workers Zimbabwe (CSWZ) invites applications for the position of Data Protection Officer.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with data-protection laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement and monitor data-protection policies and procedures.
- Advise on IT systems security and data-handling practices.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on data-protection matters.

Requirements
Qualifications and experience
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Professional certification in data protection or cybersecurity will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT systems management, data security or compliance.
- Strong knowledge of data-protection legislation and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
