Requirements and qualifications

• A Social Science Degree in Public Administration and Management, Development Planning, Development Studies, Rural/Local Government Administration/Urban Development Planning or any equivalent qualification.
• Possession of a Master’s degree in any of the above fields is an added advantage.
• At least 6 years' experience in the Administrative Officer or any other equivalent grade.
• A thorough understanding of National Development policies, priorities and goals.
• Must have a good understanding of Ministerial functions and Government operations.
• Possess good leadership qualities.
• Ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Ability to make sound and good judgement.
• Ability to employ information communication technologies in local governance and related decision areas.
