About the Role
The Dispensary Assistant will pre-pack and issue prescribed medications to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Pharmacist, and support stock and record management.
Duties
- Pre-pack and issue prescribed medications under direct supervision; track stock levels and monitor expiry dates.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for sensitive drugs; explain dosage instructions, frequency and basic side effects to patients.
- Update daily dispensary registers and electronic stock systems; maintain hygiene in the pharmacy.

Requirements
- At least five Ordinary Level passes, including English and Mathematics.
- A HEXCO-recognised Dispensary Assistant/Pharmaceutical Certificate or equivalent.
- At least one year of practical experience in a medical dispensary unit, clinic or retail pharmacy.
- Full time.
