About the Role
An experienced Legal Counsel (Job Level DU; Ref DDH&M_16983) to provide commercial legal advice, manage litigation and disputes, strengthen compliance, and support regulatory and corporate legal matters, reporting to the Group Company Secretary and Legal Counsel.
The role provides organisational compliance and wide-ranging legal advisory services on complex, high-risk and general commercial legal matters, contributes to legal policy development, provides guidance to legal professionals and external lawyers, and supports dispute resolution — weighing legal justification, case law and short-, medium- and long-term impact on the company.

Requirements
- LLB, LLM and/or other postgraduate qualifications; admitted attorney.
- 7–10 years' experience as a commercial lawyer in a reputable law firm; litigation experience.
- Experience in compliance within a corporate environment an added advantage.
