Mastercard Foundation Doctor of Public Health Scholarships 2027–2028 (University of Toronto)
About the Role
At least 7 Mastercard Foundation Doctoral scholarships will be awarded for the 2027–2028 academic year for the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) programme.
The award
- Full financial support for tuition, travel, housing, food, books and other expenses for the duration of the programme.
- A comprehensive support network, orientation sessions and support easing the transition to graduate study in Toronto and preparedness for return home.
Requirements
- Be a citizen of, and currently residing in, a Sub-Saharan African country.
- Have graduated from an Africa Health Collaborative partner institution and not yet started doctoral-level graduate studies.
- Demonstrate academic excellence and leadership during undergraduate and master's studies.
- Be academically admissible to the University of Toronto DrPH programme.
- Demonstrate a desire and commitment to return home for the last two years of the programme to contribute to Africa's economic growth and social development.
Attendance at one (1) of the three virtual information sessions is mandatory for eligibility.
