Oversee the entire milling plant: production, quality, maintenance, safety, staff, meeting production targets and sales.
Key skills
- Technical: understanding of milling processes, yield, extraction rates and moisture control.
- Quality: ZIMSA / Standards Association of Zimbabwe compliance.
- Leadership: team management, scheduling and training operators.
- Business: cost control, stock management and maintenance planning.

Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Food Science & Technology, Food Processing, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or Production Management.
- 5+ years' experience in a milling environment, preferably maize meal.
- Experience with roller mills, hammer mills, sifters and packaging lines.
- Knowledge of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) standards.
- Experience managing staff and production budgets and meeting production targets in a high-volume milling plant.
