About the Role
About the Role You will command patrol teams across the reserve, lead joint
operations with neighboring conservancies and relevant authorities, oversee snare
detection and evidence handling, and train and mentor the wider scout team in firearms
handling, fieldcraft, and patrol discipline.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years’ progressive experience in anti-poaching, game ranger, or
scout operations, including at least 3 years in a field supervisory role
• Completed course in radio communications and firearms handling
• Valid firearms competency certification with a clean handling record
• Demonstrated experience coordinating joint operations across multiple bases or
conservancies
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and maintain discipline among junior field staff
• Class 2 driver’s license an advantage
• Fluency in English and at least one local language (Ndebele)
