About the Role
Job Purpose
The Planning Officer will plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor maintenance activities, administer maintenance work orders, support shutdown planning, ensure spare parts readiness, maintain accurate maintenance records and promote continuous improvement in equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency and SHEQ compliance.

Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in Maintenance Planning or Planning and Scheduling will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of five years' experience in maintenance planning, maintenance supervision or engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing, mining, municipal services, power generation or Waste-to-Energy plants will be an added advantage.
- Experience using CMMS software such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo or a similar system is desirable.
