Department: Spatial Planning and Development. Reports to: Chief Foreman. Full-time, on-site, Gweru.

Job purpose

The Plumbers will install, maintain, repair and service Council water supply, drainage and sanitary plumbing systems and infrastructure, ensuring efficient, reliable and safe plumbing services across Council facilities.

Qualifications and experience

• Qualified Class 1 Artisan who has served a four-year apprenticeship in Plumbing, or Trade-Tested Artisan Class 1.
• A National Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent recognised qualification is an added advantage.
• At least two years' relevant practical experience in plumbing works.
• Knowledge of water and sanitary installations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid clean Class 4 driver's licence will be an added advantage.
