Queen of Peace Clothing Factory (fixed-term contract)

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of Ordinary Level education. Certificate in Garment Construction, Fashion and Fabrics, Clothing Technology plus at least one (1) year of experience in garment pressing, tailoring, or clothing manufacturing or a related field will be an added advantage. Experience operating industrial pressing equipment will be desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating industrial pressing and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pressing finished garments according to production specifications and quality standards.
• Removing wrinkles, creases, and other imperfections from garments.
• Inspecting garments for defects and report any quality concerns to the Supervisor.
• Ensuring proper handling and care of garments during the pressing process.
• Maintaining cleanliness and good housekeeping in the pressing section.
• Adhering to occupational health and safety standards at all times.
• Assisting in achieving daily production targets.
• Undertaking any other duties assigned by the Factory Supervisor.
