About the Role
Gundura Secondary School — invitation to bid.
Masvingo Rural District Council is looking for an institution or individuals who are able to take over Gundura Secondary School as a responsible authority, 60km from Masvingo City and 30km from Mashava, to convert it into a boarding school, which is the best option to maintain its viability. The school is located in a small-scale farming area with a township, clinic and a primary school within its vicinity.
The bid should be able to demonstrate:
i. How the interested party would compensate for a total of US$225,581 worth of assets and land (land USD$56,500; buildings US$169,381).
ii. How locals would get preferential treatment and their levels of payments.
iii. How the local community would enjoy from the social responsibility component.
iv. Any other innovation to the school, council and community.

Requirements
This is a tender (not a salaried post). Interested institutions or individuals should be able to demonstrate the compensation, community-benefit and innovation criteria set out above, and submit a formal bid to Masvingo Rural District Council.
