About the Role
A regional construction company based in Harare urgently requires a skilled Professional Carpenter who is available to start immediately.
Job description
- Construct, install and repair structures and fixtures from wood and other materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand project specifications
- Install suspended ceilings, drywall and plasterboard partitions
- Assemble and install kitchens
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Work with the team to complete projects on time
- Follow all site safety regulations, and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices

Requirements
- Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 3 years preferred)
- Relevant certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or a related field
- Strong carpentry skills across residential and commercial projects
- Good attention to detail, problem-solving, communication and teamwork
- Able to work independently and manage time well
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
