Provincial Accountant — Matabeleland North

Station: Matabeleland North Province.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepares monthly income and expenditure reports, cash flow forecasts and returns.
• Prepares monthly debtors' schedules and ageing analysis.
• Prepares wages payrolls for the province.
• Procures provincial requirements for both operational and capex within tender limits.
• Processes creditors' payments and petty cash vouchers.
• Manages the provincial bank account.
• Prepares provincial capex, revenue and operational budgets.
• Conducts variance analysis and takes corrective action.
• Supervises project costing, manages stock movement, and conducts periodic stock takes and reconciliations.
• Manages staff performance in the section.

Qualifications and experience

• A Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Membership of an accounting institute.
• Computer literacy.
• Four (4) years' relevant experience.
• Clean class four (4) driver's licence.
• Analytical skills.
