About the Role
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepares monthly income and expenditure reports, cash flow forecasts and returns.
- Prepares monthly debtors' schedules and ageing analysis.
- Prepares wages payrolls for the province.
- Procures provincial requirements for both operational and capex within tender limits.
- Processes creditors' payments and petty cash vouchers.
- Manages the provincial bank account.
- Prepares provincial capex, revenue and operational budgets.
- Conducts variance analysis and takes corrective action.
- Supervises project costing, manages stock movement, and conducts periodic stock takes and reconciliations.
- Manages staff performance in the section.
Requirements
- A Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Membership of an accounting institute.
- Computer literacy.
- Four (4) years' relevant experience.
- Clean class four (4) driver's licence.
- Analytical skills.
