Sales & Business Development Engineer

Petropipe Oil and Gas is recruiting a Sales & Business Development Engineer based in Harare, Zimbabwe. The position is open to Zimbabwean nationals based in Zimbabwe who have experience in industrial product sales and established relationships with key industrial accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow assigned accounts in mining, power and process industries, and bring in new accounts from your existing network.
• Identify opportunities, meet customers on site and convert enquiries into orders.
• Prepare and follow up quotations together with our technical and procurement teams.
• Get Petropipe registered and prequalified with end users and contractors.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and report weekly on visits, opportunities and orders.
• Represent Petropipe at customer meetings and industry events.

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years in sales or business development for industrial products such as valves, pumps, piping or rotating equipment.
• Established relationships with buyers and engineers at mines, power stations or process plants in Zimbabwe.
• Proven record of winning and growing accounts.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
