Sales Lead - Software & Microfinance

We are on the market for a hands-on player-coach who sells personally now and builds a team later. A pure manager is the wrong fit at this stage.

Background

* 5–8 years in field sales to small businesses.

* Best fit: merchant acquiring, i.e., signing up shops for EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks or a bank's POS machines.

* Second best: FMCG route-to-market sales (e.g. Delta or National Foods reps) who already know shop owners by name.

* Bonus: has sold fiscal devices or accounting software and understands ZIMRA rules for VAT-registered businesses.

Skills and network

1. Demos confidently on a phone, in Shona and/or Ndebele as well as English.
2. Tracks every lead in a CRM or spreadsheet and is comfortable with weekly targets.
3. Knows wholesalers, distributors, and trade association contacts, which links directly to supplier data deals.
4. Must have a driver's license, as some driving will be involved
