Salespersons (Harare x2, Marondera x2)

Applications are invited for the position of Salespersons within Baker's Inn Sales & Distribution (2 posts in Harare, 2 posts in Marondera). The successful candidates will drive sales growth, service customers, expand market coverage and ensure effective execution of sales activities within the assigned route.

Job responsibilities

• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets within the assigned route.
• Sell and distribute Baker's Inn products while maintaining high product availability and market coverage.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new customers and sales opportunities to grow route volumes and market penetration.
• Manage cash and customer transactions accurately and account for all sales proceeds.
• Monitor product freshness, manage returns and waste, and maintain good product presentation at customer outlets.
• Maintain accurate sales, customer, stock and route records and submit required reports on time.
• Gather competitor and market intelligence and provide timely feedback on customer needs, pricing and market developments.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, integrity and compliance with company sales procedures.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum of 5 O-Levels, including Mathematics and English. A Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, Commerce or a related field will be an added advantage.
• At least 1 year's relevant sales experience, preferably within an FMCG environment.
• Good numerical ability with experience in cash handling and basic sales reporting.
