Senior Mistress

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Mistress, with effect from January 2027.

Falcon College, one of Zimbabwe's leading independent boarding schools, invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and dynamic candidates for the position of Senior Mistress.

The Senior Mistress is responsible for the leadership, welfare, discipline, and development of the girls' boarding community at Falcon College. As the senior leader responsible for girls' boarding, she will oversee all aspects of hostel life, ensuring the highest standards of pastoral care, wellbeing, leadership development, and pupil support.

The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Housemasters' Committee and will work closely with the Headmaster, Housemistress, and wider pastoral team to ensure that every girl is supported to thrive academically, socially, culturally, spiritually, and personally.

Experience within a boarding school environment and familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum will be an added advantage.

The successful candidate will receive a salary commensurate with experience, accommodation, access to school facilities, and the opportunity to work within a supportive and vibrant school community.
