About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Service Delivery Technician Intern to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to gain practical experience in telecommunications, networking, customer service and field operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Service Delivery Technicians and administrators to support customer installations, maintenance activities, basic fault troubleshooting, equipment handling, customer onboarding and service delivery documentation.

Key responsibilities — the successful candidate will assist with:
- Supporting customer installations, maintenance, testing and service restoration activities under supervision.
- Performing basic network and equipment checks and assisting with first-line fault troubleshooting.
- Preparing and handling tools, equipment and materials required for assigned field activities.
- Supporting customer onboarding by explaining approved service and equipment basics.
- Maintaining accurate job records, photographs, time logs, test results and customer sign-off documentation.
- Updating assigned tasks, reporting progress, recording blockers and escalating delays or technical issues appropriately.
- Supporting the requisitioning, use, recording, safeguarding and return of tools, materials and customer equipment.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing a Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, Networking or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of computer networks, telecommunications equipment or customer-premises equipment.
- Basic understanding of field safety and willingness to follow safety procedures.
- A valid driver's licence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work under supervision in both office and field environments.
