About the Role
Job Purpose
The Sorting Plant Operator will operate, monitor and control sorting plant equipment, maintain uninterrupted material flow, support waste recovery processes, record production data and ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements, standard operating procedures and good housekeeping standards.

Requirements
- National Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Operations, Environmental Engineering, Millwright or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Waste management or process plant operations training is required.
- Minimum of two years' experience operating an industrial processing plant, waste sorting facility, recycling plant or similar industrial operation.
- Experience with conveyor systems, hydraulics and material handling equipment will be an added advantage.
